Who we are

OptiLife Protocol publishes independent product reviews and informational pages. This policy explains what we collect on these pages, why, and how you can stop it. It was written to describe what the pages actually do, not to sound reassuring.

Affiliate disclosure

Pages on this site contain affiliate links. If you buy through one of them we may earn a commission, at no additional cost to you. That commission never changes the price you pay. We are not the seller: checkout, payment, shipping, refunds and customer support are handled by the merchant and by ClickBank as the retailer of record. When you click through you leave this site, and their privacy policy and terms apply instead of ours.

What we collect

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, address or payment details on this site. Those are entered on the merchant checkout, which we never see. On these pages we collect:

  • Technical data: your IP address, browser user agent, device type, screen size, referring URL and the page you are on.
  • Approximate location: city and country inferred from your IP address, used only to make the page relevant to your region. We do not use GPS and cannot see your precise location.
  • Behaviour on the page: how far you scroll, how long you stay, which sections you read, and which buttons you click.
  • Identifiers stored in your browser: a random visitor ID and a click ID kept in localStorage and sessionStorage, plus Meta advertising cookies (_fbp and _fbc). These let us recognise a returning visit and attribute a sale. They do not contain your name or e-mail.

Meta Pixel and Conversions API

These pages run the Meta Pixel and also send the same events to Meta from our server through the Meta Conversions API. Server-side sending means some data reaches Meta even when a browser extension blocks the Pixel script. The events describe page views, engagement and clicks toward the offer, together with the technical data and identifiers listed above, including your IP address and user agent.

Meta processes this as an independent controller under its own terms. Any contact detail we ever send is hashed with SHA-256 before it leaves our server, so Meta receives an irreversible fingerprint rather than the value itself. We use this to measure which pages lead to sales and to reach similar audiences.

Other services

Depending on how you arrived, these pages may also load advertising and analytics tags from Google. Outbound clicks pass through ClickBank, which sets its own cookies to attribute the sale. Each of these companies acts under its own privacy policy, which we do not control.

Why we are allowed to do this

Where the GDPR applies (United Kingdom, Ireland and the European Economic Area) we rely on your consent for advertising cookies and similar identifiers, and on legitimate interest for basic security and fraud prevention. You can withdraw consent at any time using the methods below. Where the CCPA and CPRA apply (California), we do not sell your personal information for money; sharing data with advertising partners for cross-context behavioural advertising may still count as a sale or a share under that law, and you may opt out.

How to opt out

  • Clear cookies and site data for this site in your browser settings. This removes the stored identifiers described above.
  • Turn on Do Not Track, or use the tracking protection built into your browser.
  • Adjust your Meta ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account settings.
  • Use private browsing, which discards the identifiers when you close the window.

Blocking these identifiers does not prevent you from reading any page here.

How long we keep it

Event data held by advertising platforms follows their own retention schedules, which we do not control. Identifiers stored in your browser stay until you clear them; session identifiers are discarded when you close the tab.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export the personal data we hold, to object to processing, and to complain to your data protection authority. Because we do not run accounts, we usually cannot connect a request to a specific visitor without additional information from you.

Children

These pages are meant for adults and are not directed to children under 13, or under 16 in the EEA and the UK. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.
