The short version
We do not ask you for your name, your email address or any other personal detail. There is no newsletter form, no account to create and no comment section. We do not sell data, because we do not collect any that would be worth selling.
Two third parties do see that your browser loaded a page here: Meta (Facebook), through an advertising pixel, and Google, because the site loads its fonts. Both are explained below, along with how to stop them.
What we collect directly
Nothing. When you open a page on this site, our server does not set a cookie on your browser and does not store an identifier for you. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting; we do not use those logs to build a profile of you.
The Meta advertising pixel
This site loads the Meta pixel (fbevents.js, pixel ID 1039317805688665). When a page loads, it sends a PageView event to Meta. That event tells Meta which page was viewed, along with your IP address and browser information, and Meta may connect it to a Facebook or Instagram account if you are logged into one.
We use it to understand which articles bring readers and to measure advertising. We do not send Meta your name, email or any form data, because we do not have any.
You can stop it. Browser tracking protection, an ad blocker or a content blocker will prevent the pixel from loading. You can also review and limit off-site activity in your Facebook or Instagram account settings.
Google Fonts
Typefaces load from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Requesting a file from Google means your IP address reaches Google’s servers. No account information is involved and we receive nothing back from it.
Affiliate links and what happens when you click one
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Every page that carries one says so before the link.
Clicking a product button sends you through our own redirect at /go/, which adds a short code identifying which article the click came from — for example ingr for an ingredients article. That code describes the page, not you. It carries no name, no email and no identifier of any kind.
From there you land on the seller’s website, usually through ClickBank. At that point you are on their site and their privacy policy applies, not ours. They will set their own cookies and, if you buy, they process your payment and your personal details. We never see your payment information and we never receive your name or address from a purchase.
What we do not do
We do not run Google Analytics on this site. We do not use session recording or heatmap tools. We do not operate a mailing list. We do not sell, rent or share data with data brokers. If any of that changes, this page changes with it.
Your choices
Because we hold no account and no contact record for you, there is nothing here for us to export or delete on request. To limit what Meta or Google receive, use your browser’s tracking protection, a content blocker, or the privacy controls in your Meta account. To ask about anything on this page, use our contact page.
Children
This site is written for adults evaluating consumer health products. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
